Lawrence William “Bill” Sorenson, 64, passed away on September 4, 2014, at North Kansas City Hospital. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Monday, September 8, 2014, in the White Chapel Funeral Home, with visitation an hour prior to service.
Bill was born on March 12, 1950 in Leavenworth, Kansas the son of Lawrence Henry and Mary Maxine (Monger) Sorenson.
Bill was a United States Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He had worked for Ford Motor Company, retiring after 37 years.
Survivors include: the love of his life for 45 years, Donna; two daughters, Brandi White (Paul) and Vanessa McLain (Brandon); two grandchildren, Jenna and Evan White; one sister, Judy Camp; nieces and nephew, Deb Kinney, Ashley Gauthier and Rob Atalla; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nancy Atalla.
