Heather Lee Sisk

Heather Sisk, age 49, died unexpectedly on September 27, 2023. Heather was born on August 11th, 1974 in Fargo, North Dakota to Alvin and Hermione Sisk. The family eventually moved to Gladstone, MO in 1981 where she completed her elementary and high school education. After high school, she attended Dury College in Springfield, MO then graduated Cum Laude from Park University in Parkville, MO.

Heather was involved with gymnastics and dance from 1st grade through 12th grade. She also participated in band (flute) and spent four years as a high school cheerleader. She later was a cheerleader at Drury College.

After graduation, she worked several jobs as a server and Home Depot associate until she began working for Optum. When she had the opportunity, she applied and accepted a management position with Cerner Corp. She celebrated 10 years with them.

Two years ago, she and a friend moved to a home with 6 acres near Richmond, MO. It was a transformative time for Heather. She became a bird and animal lover. She would call every time she saw a new bird or type of nut on a tree or a wild animal.

Heather's greatest love was for her dogs, Axel and Slash. She also loved her cat, Walter. She loved her parents and so many of the people she knew.

Heather was preceded in death by both grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her parents, one uncle and many cousins.
