Elizabeth was born June 28, 1943 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Jason and Elizabeth (Siler) Flickinger. To friends and family, she was known as Sue.
Sue graduated Topeka High School in 1961 and went on to attend the University of Kansas where she met her future husband, Dean Berry. Throughout her life she held many interesting careers including being a nurse, an IRS clerk, and a City of Kansas City clerk in various departments. Sue enjoyed her pet cats all throughout her life as well!
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Jason and Elizabeth Flickinger; her husband, Herman Dean Berry; daughter-in-law, Dawn Berry; and infant granddaughter, Mikaela.
Elizabeth is survived by her three sons, Mark Berry of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mitchell Berry of Kansas City, Missouri; and Michael Berry and wife Lynnette of Kansas City, Missouri; one brother, Gary Flickinger and wife Deborah of Spanaway, Washington; four grandchildren: Aislinn Berry, Maleah Zuhlsdorf, Hope Berry, and Chance Berry; and one great grandchild, Luke Zuhlsdorf.
Visitation for Elizabeth will be held Monday, December 23, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri, 64119.
