Dorothy “Dottie” Lorraine (Main) Scott, 71, passed away very angelically and peacefully on October 9, 2017. A memorial service will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 3 – 4:30 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119. Dorothy leaves behind two daughters, Debbie Sissel and Bridgett (Stuart) Goldstein; four grandchildren, Tessa Franco, Jeremy Scott, Spencer Goldstein and Dylan Goldstein; eleven great grandchildren and sisters, Judy Hill and Sherry Lintner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Blanche Main; sister, Shirley Schroeder; and grandson, Nick Scott. Dorothy was known for her pride, strength, compassion and her desire to give to others. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the loves of her life, and it brought her immense joy to spoil them. It was her strong faith in God and prayer that lead her through life, illness, and made her such an amazing women and mother. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest monetary donations to Midwest Transplant Network, as this cause was very near and dear to her heart.
