Betty was born August 1, 1931 in Frankfort, Kansas to William Earnest Johnson and Lillie Mae Minor. When she was 5, the family moved to Kansas City, Kansas, where she lived until she graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1950. Betty married Robert Gray in 1956.
Betty worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Kansas City for 27 years as a personal counselor for Medicare. Betty was very crafty throughout her life making personalized Christmas stockings for all her family and making cross stitch masterpieces just to name a few, but her biggest pride and joy was her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Robert; her parents; and her brother, Robert Johnson.
Survivors include her children, Robin (Michael) Romine and Mark (Judi) Gray; 5 grandchildren, Stacey (Kevin), Kyle (Michele), Eric (April), Amber, and Dylan (Alicia); and 8 great grandchildren, Maya, Layla, Violet, Brooklyn, Lexi, Cora, Lukas, and Liam.
