Anna was born on 11/17/1925 in Cowgill, MO., to Landin B. and Alta Isis Moon. Anna graduated from Braymer High School and married her high school sweetheart, Kay W. Hays, before he shipped out to serve in World War II in 1944. Moving to Kansas City, where she would live for the next 70 years, Anna worked as a secretary for a local bank, then the North Kansas City School District for many years.
In 1947, daughter Pamela Kay was born. Her daughter remembers a kind, gentle and patient mother who encouraged her to pursue her goals. Anna shared laughter, a joy of travel and a fun-loving nature with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many friends. Anna was accomplished at music, sharing this talent with her friends and as an active member of First Baptist Church of North Kansas City. She was a generous and dedicated person who loved her family, church and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband, Kay W. Hays.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Pamela Kundert, her son-in-law Dennis Kundert; grandson Eric Kundert, granddaughter-in-law Amy McLard and great grandchildren Elizabeth Kundert and Gavin Kundert; and granddaughter Liesl Kundert.
Visitation, services and graveyard ceremony is scheduled for 8/19/2022, starting at 12:30 p.m. at Newcomers White Chapel Funeral Home and Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Anna's life.

The family would like to thank her dedicated caregivers at Anderson Memory Care in Slidell, Louisiana, and her friends in Kansas City who helped with the arrangements. They are grateful to all who loved and cared for Anna throughout her life, making it a happy one.
