Thomas Bruce Warner

Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Norma (Oldford); children Norm (Michelle), Bill (Holly); grandchildren, Cameron, Caitlyn, Kinsley, Addilyn; brother Bob (Barb), sister-in-law Willena as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Tom was the son the late Margaret and George Warner, of Glace Bay. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Jim and George, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Catherine and Norman Oldford.

Tom was an instrumentation technologist at Syncrude Canada, Fort McMurray for 25 years. He was a man with many interests including woodworking, reading, travel, sports and spending time at the cottage in Loch Lomond.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who helped Tom along his travels.

Donations can be made in Tom’s memory to the Patient Care Fund at the Cape Breton Cancer Centre, Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County, The Lodge that Gives, Halifax, or a charity of choice.

A memorial service was held at Patten Funeral Home Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 4:00pm. Interment will be at Forest Haven Memorial Garden at a later date. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.pattenfuneral.com.
