November 21, 1955 – May 28, 2021
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Linda (Kelloway) Snow on Friday, May 28, 2021; with her loving son and daughter by her side. Linda worked at the Cape Breton Regional Victoria Center of Education for 42 years as a cleaner, grounds supervisor, and in her final years as a Teacher’s Assistant; where she formed many lifelong friends. She was a proud member of the Branch 005 Donkin Legion for over 35 years. She was also one of the original members of the Friday night mixed dart league.
If you knew her and her late husband Anno, they were avid fans of the Montreal Canadians and the New York Yankees. She loved attending her weekly craft group and known to always have a cup of Tim Horton’s tea in hand. She was well known in the village for her helping hands.
She was survived by her Mamma’s Boy 'Bubba' Brian and her Best Friend and daughter Alison (Jeff). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lauren and Adam; great grandchildren; her mother-in-law Phyllis Snow, sister-in-law Jane Hills; nieces, Phyllis Jewels (Michael), Kayla Kelloway and nephew Kyle Kelloway. She will also be sadly missed by her “Nanny’s Girl” Mya the grand dog. Linda is predeceased by her loving husband Brian Snow, her father Ruck Kelloway, brother Johnnie Kelloway, her sister-in-law Linda Jewells and brother-in-law Errol Jewells.
"A beautiful life,
That came to an end,
She died as she lived,
everyone's friend.
In our hearts,
a memory will always be kept,
of one we loved,
and will never forget."
A graveside service will take place June 3 Thursday at 2PM, at St. Luke's United Cemetery.
