Born in Glace Bay she was the daughter of the late Margaret (MacLean) and Freeman Boutilier.
Ann is survived by her brothers Arthur (Ralphina), Lennie (Bernadette), Mickey (Doreen), Joseph (Amanda), Freddy (Susan) and Herbert; grandchildren Ava Grace, Blair, Logan and Evan; brother in law Bernie and sister in law Ann Marie (Manny); God children Betty Jane, Geneva, Billy Joe and Bernie. Also many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by husband Blair; son Blair; daughter Margaret; brothers Freeman Jr and Tommy (Linda); sisters Marylou (Johnny) and Mary; nephews John and Tyler.
Ann helped everyone and loved life. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and she was proud of them all. When she talked about them or her brothers and sisters her face lit up.
She loved playing darts, family parties, dancing, watching old movies and her favorite meal was fish and chips with a strong cup of tea and a boston cream doughnut. Anyone who knows her knew she was always looking for sugar twin.
In following Ann’s wishes cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home Glace Bay, visitation will be held on Thursday September 5, 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9 in Patten Funeral Home. Service will be on Friday September 6, 2024 at 11am in Patten Funeral Home Chapel.
