Passed away on Thursday, February 13th, 2020 at age 69. He was the son of the late John (Rory) Roach and the late Isabel (Mackie) Roach of Reserve Mines, NS.
Upon completion of high school, he joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and proudly served 35 years with postings in Ottawa, Manitoba, and NS (Baddeck, Ingonish Beach, Pictou, Yarmouth, Sheet Harbour, Halifax, and New Minas).
He is survived by his wife Nancey of 42 years; his sons Christopher (Julie Hathaway and granddaughter Madeline), Bradley, and Anthony, all of Vancouver, BC, and Andrew of Wolfville, NS. Surviving siblings: Donna (Eric) Cadegan of Glace Bay, NS, and Douglas (Charlotte) Roach of Gardiner Mines, NS.
He was a devoted and loving father, husband, and brother. His presence and sense of humour will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Heartfelt gratitude to the countless medical professionals who took care of Brian over the last twenty years, and to his brother Doug, who made that time possible with his selfless organ donation.

Remains are resting at Patten Funeral Home Glace Bay on Tuesday February 18 from 7-9pm. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church Reserve at 11am Wednesday February 19.
