Anne Jane Campbell

Born in Glace Bay on August 14, 1939, to the late Joseph and Margaret (Marsh) Vickers.

Jane is survived by one brother Gordon, sisters Joyce and Valerie (Gerard) and her 3 children Gail Desmond and John and Fred Campbell. She is also survived by grandchildren Whitney and Jasmine Desmond, great granddaughter Bryerley and sister-in-law Cecilia Vickers and many nieces and nephews including special niece and friend Laura Wall.

Besides her parents, Jane was predeceased by her husband John Campbell, sisters Mary, Isabelle and Francis, brothers Thomas George "Tucker", Wilfred "Freddie" and Joseph.

Jane enjoyed the simple joys of life, music of all kinds (she loved to both sing and dance), any kind of Arts and crafts, shuffle board, Bingo. During her stay in Celtic Court she enjoyed and participated in all of the various activities that they planned for the residents. The family would especially like to thank all of the staff of the Celtic Court for doing such a wonderful job in treating Jane like family. Your kindness is truly appreciated.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 30 at 1:00pm at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Duncan Roach officiating. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.pattenfuneral.com. If desired, donations in Jane's memory may be made to Celtic Court or the Cancer Society.
