Tomas Silva Jr.

Tomas was born on March 3, 1948 in Pflugerville, Texas to his parents, Tomas and Trinidad Silva. In his childhood, he spent his summers swimming at the Blue Hole. Tomas lived life to the fullest as a young man. He had many stories to share with family and friends. Tomas loved to work with hands and was a contractor for most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and riding his motorcycle in his spare time. He was known for his barbeque and sharp sense of style.

Tomas was a family man. He married his first wife, Gloria Rivera, in 1966. After his divorce, he met and married the love of his life, Maria Silva. They were together for 43 years. He is survived by his children: Gloria Richardson, wife of Phillip Richardson; Thomas Silva, husband of Tresha Silva; Cedelia Allen, wife of James Allen; Monica Silva, and Anthony Silva. He is also leaving behind numerous brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and dear family friends. He had a life full of love and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 5:30pm to 8pm at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Requiem Mass will be held before burial at St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown, Texas on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 10am. Burial will follow at Georgetown Memorial Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.
