Selby Barnett “Barney” Harris, age 88, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012. He was born on September 24, 1924 in Louisville, Kentucky to parents Frank Lockman and Nellie Everett Lockman. Selby retired both U.S. Air Force and the City of Austin.
He is survived by his wife, Amber Harris of Georgetown, Texas; sons, Tye Harris and Clay Harris and wife Laura Cartwright all of Austin, Texas; daughter, Anita Harris Grant of Melbourne, Australia; grandson, Ryan Harris of Austin, Texas; granddaughter, Alexandra Grant: brother, George Lockman of Kentucky; and sisters, Lucille Booth of Arizona and Jeanny Lockman of Kentucky.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 19th of December, 2012 in the chapel of the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with Chaplain Dean Hamilton officiating.
