Joe grew up in Healdsburg, California and graduated from Healdsburg High in 1987. He was married to Danielle Bessire for 19 years, from 1993-2012.
Joe was a very loyal and passionate man who loved many things. His greatest loves were his family, football, and music. He was involved in youth football for many years from coaching his son Austin, in Healdsburg, California to co-founding the Georgetown Bulldogs now known as the Georgetown Patriots.
Joe is survived by his ex-wife, Danielle Bessire and two wonderful children, son Austin Arguelles and daughter Savanna Arguelles; parents, Roland and Lena Arguelles of Georgetown, Texas; sister, Vickie Arguelles of Ripon, Wisconsin; and brother, Paul Arguelles of Bartlett, Texas. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends and his loving girlfriend, Kori Landers.
A memorial service will be held for Joe on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 10:30a.m. at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home at 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas. The service will be led by Brother Tommy Rosenblad. A reception will follow the service at the home of Roland and Lena Arguelles.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of Joe’s favorite sports organizations, the Georgetown Youth Football Patriots at www.GTYFCA.org, or the Georgetown High School Athletic Department.
