Jesse James Martinez

Jesse was a devoted husband, father, brother and nephew to his family. He attended Texas State for a degree in criminal Justice. He was a very quiet and reserved person but was so kind and sweet to anyone he met and a true gentleman.

He enjoyed reading his Stephen King books while growing up and was also fond of movies, especially Star Wars. In addition to being a big fan of sports cars, Jesse was equally passionate of food which he loved to take pictures of and share. He lately became interested in biking and dreamt of one day riding his bike around the neighborhood.

Some of Jesse’s proudest achievements included building a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, becoming a husband, and fathering his daughter Yolanda.

He will be greatly missed and will always be remembered for being the loving man he was to his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife Aida Nacro Martinez of Austin, TX; sister Michelle Martinez of Dallas, TX; daughter Yolanda Mireya Martinez of Austin, TX; step daughter Aliyah Larinda Younga of Austin, TX; and step son Faris Younga of Austin, TX.

A visitation for Jesse will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628. A second visitation will occur Friday, June 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Georgetown IOOF Cemetery, 1117 E 7th St, Georgetown, TX 78626.
