Dolores “Dee” Robertson passed from this life and into the loving arms of her Lord, surrounded by her family on March 12th, 2021.
Dee was born in Austin on July 5, 1944 to Gladys and Tim Golden. This past year, she celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with Duncan J. Robertson Jr.
Dee and Duncan raised five children together and were blessed with eight grandchildren. Dee enjoyed many roles in life: Wife, Mother, Grandmother, homemaker, pastor’s wife, and bank teller. Throughout it all, Dee selflessly served others.
First and foremost, she served her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her last days on her earthly home were spent witnessing to others. Second only to God, was her family. As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was an irreplaceable treasure. Dee’s greatest joy was sharing her love of Jesus to the world, but equally important was bringing joy into people’s lives with her love and laughter. Her laugh was infectious, and no one was immune. She always had a joke ready to tell and enjoyed seeing smiles, hearing laughs, and experiencing joy through happiness she created for others. With that in mind, please enjoy one last Joke of the Day from Dee:
What did one hat say to another?
“You stay here, I’ll go on a head.”
You “go on ahead” to the Pearly Gates, Dee. Save a place for us.
