Al graduated from Central Catholic High and received a Bachelor's of Science from St. Mary's University in 1959. Upon graduation he joined the Army where he achieved the rank of Captain. He married Marilyn on July 20, 1968.
Al began his career in 1966 with IBM Clear Lake City working on NASA contract. In 1982 he transferred to IBM Austin successfully completing multiple projects before retirement in 1993. Following retirement, he went to work for Williamson County as a Jail Magistrate, a second career he truly loved.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Marilyn; son Brian and his wife Michelle; granddaughters Ashlyn and Mya; daughters Laura and Sarah. He is also survived by his sister Charlene and husband, Jack; brother Charles and wife Maria; and a large extended family including nieces, nephews and friends he considered family.
A visitation will be held at 5:30 P.M. followed by a rosary at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Cook-Walden Davis Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Sunday, November 11, 2018 in the chapel at the funeral home followed by a Committal Service with Military Honors at IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown.
