Mrs. Sarah Leila McMahan

Setting goals and striving to always give her best, she worked with determination throughout her life. Even though marrying young, Sarah completed her high school education, obtained her GED and went on to earn her associate degree in accounting at Gaston College. She continued this drive throughout her life for family, friends, and work, but especially for her Lord and Savior. She attended and served the Mary’s Grove Methodist Church in Kings Mountain until health concerns limited her.

Her husband, Jimmie Lionel McMahan and son, Jimmy Wade McMahan, predeceased Sarah.

She is survived by her siblings, Tom Baumgardner, Lorraine Wells and Lynn Bierowski; daughter, Sherril Ansel; granddaughter, Brittany Ivey; grandsons, Michael McMahan and Nicklaus Rinehart; and great-grandson, Isaiah Ivey.
