Kenneth Roger Rhyne

Kenneth Roger Rhyne, 60, of Bessemer City went to his heavenly home, way too early, on Sunday August 14, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and family. Kenneth was a family man who loved his wife and children. He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He loved to ride motorcycles and he had a collection of three motorcycles. Professional, he was a machinist before becoming disabled. He leaves a big hole that will be difficult to fill. Family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and many others will miss him.

His first son, Jason William Rhyne, precedes Kenneth in death. Also preceding him in death is the woman who raised him, his paternal grandmother, Mildred Daisy Gurley. His mother, Glenda Glendola Daves, has also preceded him in death.

Left grieving the loss of Kenneth are his wife, Deborah Rhyne, of the home and his children, daughter Amanda Rhyne and sons Kenneth “Roger” Rhyne, Christopher Rhyne, Andy Rhyne, and Matthew Rhyne. Missing their grandfather are his grandsons Pattrick and Jace Rhyne. His father, Roger Clause Rhyne, also survives Kenneth. Numerous other family members are also grieving Kenneth’s passing.

A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday August 19, 2022 at Carothers Funeral Home, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia. Family and friends are asked to bring their good memories of Kenneth as people will be encouraged to share at the Celebration of Life Service.
