Don C. Lawing Sr.

He is preceded in passing by his wife, Dorothy Lawing; his grandson, Cole Lawing and his stepson, Vernon Conner.

Don leaves behind his son, Don C. Lawing, Jr., and a dear friend, and his caregiver, his ex-daughter-in-law, Misty Phillips.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park with the service beginning at 2:30 pm. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of Peace at Gaston Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Don’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
