Clint was born August 9, 1972 in Gastonia, NC. He was the son of Clinton D. Smith and Donna F. Smith. Clint graduated from Ashbrook Highschool in 1990. He went to Gaston Junior College and earned his Associate Degree in Business. After graduation, he joined the Army Reserve and received an Honorable Discharge after his tour was complete. He spent most of his career in Banking where he met Lee.
He is survived by his parents, Clinton D. Smith and Donna F. Smith; wife, Lee Foley; sons, Brockton C. Smith, Johnnie Foley, and Logan Smith; daughter, Bella Rose Smith; sister, Erica Lynne Smith Barrett and husband Derrick, and one niece, Eliza Ruth Barrett
A visitation for Clint will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in The Cardinal Hall at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 PM. A committal service will immediately follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
