He graduated from Holbrook High School and studied Business at Gaston College for two years. Billy was a U.S. Army Veteran and loved his country. He worked for Western Electric as a Repair Technician then later as a Truck Driver for Winn Dixie Warehouse.
Billy was a faithful member of Dallas Church of God for several years. He enjoyed outdoor activities, was a skilled carpenter and a former biker. Billy had many friends and never met a stranger. He will be missed by his friends and loved ones.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by his wife, Theresa Webb.
He is survived by his siblings, Rachel Baker, Linda Hendrix, William George Webb, Jr. and wife Sandra, Sylvia Ziegler, Ronald Webb, and Jeff Webb and wife Sheila; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and stepdaughters, Tina and Kelly.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Dallas Church of God with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm. A committal service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont.
