William Lee Pitts, age 32, of Oneonta, Alabama passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Lee was born on May 2, 1990. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Birmingham on Lakeshore Drive in Homewood, AL. Lee fought a good fight for many years, but now is resting at peace. He was an animal lover and a "foodie" who loved a good recipe.
Lee was preceded in death by his father, William Johnny Pitts and his grandparents, William Roy Pitts, Mary E. Pitts, Neal Walter Duren and Mary Christine Duren.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Pitts; one sister, Jennifer Turley; nephews, Isaac Miller and Isaiah Shinn and also by niece, Jordan Shinn as well as a host of aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and family.
A visitation for Lee will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel in Fireside Parlor, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071.
