Shirley Mae Mullins

Shirley was the daughter of Raymond and Helen Geraldine Harvey. Shirley was married to the late Hershal Mullins for 61 years. Shirley was the mother of the late Mary Catherine Mullins Hamilton (Harold Mark Hamilton), and survived by sons Kirt Michael Mullins, Johnny Brian Mullins (Patty Ann Mullins), and daughter Stephanie Mullins Motes (Terry Wayne Motes Jr.).

Shirley was a proud and loving grandmother and great-grandmother blessed with seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Grandchildren are Kristopher Michael Mullins (Brandi Nicole Mullins), Devlin Grey Hamilton (Danielle Edgerton Hamilton), Holly Renea Mullins Graham (Chad Allen Graham), Rachel Ann Mullins Echols (Noah Ray Echols), Zachary Scott Mullins (Kelsey Eryn Golden Mullins), Lauren Patricia Motes, and Joseph Michael Motes. Great grandchildren are Easton Michael Mullins, Henry Roman Mullins, Khloe Rae Mullins, Zoey Catherine Hamilton, Embry Gage Hamilton, and Otis Ray Echols.

Shirley was a loving and devoted sibling to the late Robert Doll of Greenville, SC and sister Pat Boltz still residing in Myerstown, PA.

Shirley worked several jobs throughout her life as a waitress, baker, and homemaker among other jobs in the various locations where Hershal would be assigned in the Air Force and after his retirement from the service in 1976. Shirley and Hershal had lived in Bagley, AL ever since then.

The funeral will be Saturday February 2, 2019 at Ridout's Chapel in Gardendale, AL. Visitation will be from 10-11. Service will be from 11-12. Graveside service will be at 12:30 at Forest Grove Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, AL.
