Russell Johnson

Russell Johnson, age 57, of Pinson, Alabama passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2019. Russell was born January 8, 1962. Russ was preceded in death by his father Edwin F. Johnson. Russ was employed for 26 years as a proffesional photographer and audio - visual technician for the Baptist Health Systems and worked the past 10 years at Perry computer. Russ served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was a member of the Jefferson County Beekeepers Association. Russ accomplished his life long dream of living on the family farm in Hayden, Al. this past year where he enjoyed his family and the land he loved. He leaves behind his loving mother Margurette R. Johnson, his devoted wife Dorinda Dison Johnson, two sons Nathan Jay Russell and Blake Adison Johnson.

A celebration of life visitation for Russell will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life service will occur Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will occur.
