Roy Hardin

He has been married his loving wife for 58 years and they had five beautiful children together. He was loved by many and will be missed very much too. He was a truck driver for 60 years/ He loved to fish, tell stories about his trips on the road, he was an extremely hard worker and the best husband and father a family could ask for. His heart was big and he loved no matter good or bad, he loved unconditionally.

Roy is survived by his wife, Ruby Hardin; sons, Jimmy Hardin (Vickie) and Michael Hardin (Marry); daughter, Angela Wallace (Mike); brothers, Frank Hardin (Mary) and Billy Wayne Hardin; sisters, Annette Atchley (Billy), Jeanette Rylant, Lynette Crane, Brenda Johnson (Robert), and Judy Hardin; 17 loving grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Clara Hardin; father, Sidney Hardin; daughter Mary; son, Jeffrey; brother, Haris Hardin; and sister Linda Atchley (Joe)

A celebration gathering for Roy will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life service will occur Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will occur at Locust Fork, Locust Fork, Alabama.
