Phillip Alan Busby

Phil graduated from Minor High School in 1981. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth Busby, on October 14, 1988. He had a career in building management for the FBI and DEA field offices. He had a passion for coaching, fishing, working with his hands, building things, helping others, and Alabama Football (Roll Tide!) He had a green thumb, and a capability to grow anything in his garden. He loved his two children, Andrew Busby, and Katie Busby (deceased.) But most of all, he loved and adored his best friend, his buddy, and his life partner, Liz.

Phil is survived by his wife Liz, his son Andrew, his mother JoAnn Busby, his brothers David Busby (Deb) and Joseph Busby (Sheila).

Phil is preceded by his daughter Katie, his father Paul Busby, and his brother Greg Busby. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 13, from 5:00-7:00 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, service is scheduled for 7:00 PM. Graveside is scheduled for Tuesday, June 14, at Oakwood Memorial Gardens at 10 AM.

A visitation for Phillip will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, AL, followed by a funeral service from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Graveside committal service is scheduled for 10 AM, Tuesday, June 14, at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, Alabama.
