Noah proudly served in the US Army in World War II under General George Patton and while service in France he met his wife of 74 years, Anna. He retired from APIPCO after many years of service; he was a Baptist minister and a member of Walker's Chapel Baptist Church and he was a past Grand Master at Gardendale Lodge #907.
Noah was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a true and faithful friend to many.
Noah was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Mattie Quinn; his son, Stanley Quinn; brother, James Quinn, sisters, Lucille Eikenberry and his twin, Nora Gaynor.
Noah is survived by his wife Anna Quinn; daughter, Dorothy Elledge (Patrick); daughter-in-law, Susan Quinn; brother, Robert Quinn (Daisy); grandchildren, Gregory Elledge, Lesley Shaffer, and Lauren Woodward (James); great grandchildren, Noah Shaffer and Amelia Woodward, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Celebration of life services for Noah will be held Monday, February 10, 2020 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071 with a time of visitation to begin at 10:00 AM followed by a service at 11:30 AM. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations made to the Nehemiah Build Fund at Walker's Chapel Baptist Church, 1525 Briscoe Street, Fultondale, AL 35068, 205-841-8426.
