Joyce Lynn Williams

Joyce Lynn Williams, age 66 of Warrior, AL passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Lynn was a loving wife, mother, and soon to be grandmother. She loved Jesus, her husband and children, and her pets. She loved taking care of others and was the most giving of time and love to those in need. She was a great business woman and for many years enjoyed making people beautiful. She was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin J. Holland and step-father, Pete Yeager; brothers, David Holland and Joe Holland; a sister, Louise Yeager. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, James L. “Jim” Williams; her wonderful daughters, Lesley Taylor (Kenneth) and Jamie Knappenberger (Josh); mother, Gloria H. Yeager; brother, Phillip David Yeager; sisters, Lou Yvonne Bray, Lisa Kim Cutcliff, Miranda Jackie Yeager, and extended Holland brothers and sisters in Moulton and Cullman, AL., Alvin, Jr., John, Sue, Marcella, Timmy, Nancy, Jeremy, and Carmen.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 11:30 AM until 1 PM, followed by a graveside service at 1:30 PM in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. The family request in lieu of flowers to please make donations to the Blount County Animal Shelter, PO Box 310, Locust Fork, AL 35097 in Lynn’s honor.
