James Wallace "Walby" Gray

Walby was preceded in death by his parents, Rubin and Elzora Gray; two sisters, Louis and Joan; seven brothers, Richard, Rubin Jr, Larry, Marvin, Travis, Tom, and Albert Gray.

Walby is survived by his wife, Joan Gray; one son, Michael Gray; two daughters, Pamela Dukes and Donna Gray; one sister, Jeanette Pinkston; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Cody, Amanda, Joshua, Heather, Daniel, Meghan, Corey, and Zachery; fourteen great grandchildren, Hayle, Abel, Emily, Dominic, McKenzie, Brooklyn, K J, Noah, Brookann, Khloe', Nolan, Aurora, Anthony, and Peyton, Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation for Walby will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Gray's Chapel Baptist Church, 570 Macedonia Road, Ragland, AL 35131. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery, Ragland, AL.
