Mrs. Grace Louise Jones, age 93 of Gardendale passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012. She attended Gardendale First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Lindsay Taylor Jones and grandson, Kirk Jones. Survivors include her sons: Darrell Jones (Sharon) and Harold Jones (Donni); grandchildren: Leslie Jones Bradley (Doug), Teresa Shaw (John), Lisa Carroll (Ray) and Donald Jones (Toni); six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sisters: Martha and Mable Jean. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Moncrief Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. She was so very proud of her sons and loved them dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gardendale First Baptist Church Library.
