Betty Joyce Campbell

Betty Joyce Campbell, age 75 of Gardendale, AL passed away on Sunday, July 30th, 2017. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Campbell retired from Ketona Nursing Home (North Hill Nursing & Rehab) with more than 30 years of service. She was an avid “Crimson Tide Football Fan”! She was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Clarence E. Campbell, Sr.; parents, Willie Lee and Louella Snow Myrick; brothers, Artis Lee Myrick, Kenneth Myrick, and Floyd Myrick. Mrs. Campbell is survived by her sister, Mary Ella Burgett Hawthorne; her children, a daughter, Donna Campbell Williams; and a son, Clarence Campbell; her grandchildren, Thomas E. Williams “Chip”, Jeremy Williams, and Leslie Williams; great grandchildren, Abby, Brooks, Wilson, Jacob, Thomas, Aubrey, Riley, and Ryan; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 5 until 8 PM with chapel services on Wednesday, August 2nd beginning at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
