Judy was a world-traveler and loved taking her grandchildren on their dream vacations. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends, riding bikes, and volunteering with her husband. She was proud of many years of donating blood and platelets through the Red Cross. Judy was married to Harold Burgraff (Burgie) and she was preceded in death by her second husband, Bill Williams, and her first husband, Clarence Herbert Godley.
Judy and Clarence raised their three children in Sheffield Lake, Ohio - Lois Scott married to Jim, Jenny Rieck married to Otto, and Thomas Godley (deceased) married Candy (deceased). She also loved Burgie’s children, Phil (Maricel), David (Stacy) and Kathy (Bruce Leonard); and Bill’s children, Ted and Wendy.
Judy was Nana to Felecia Eaton, Brittany Scott, Austin Scott, Rebecca Rieck, Zachary Scott, Rachel Rieck, Stephen Leonard, Kaylee Leonard, and Noah Burgraff. She is also survived by her mother, Jenny Gulling and her siblings, Tim Gulling, John Gulling, Janet Odabach, and Joan Kolb.
A member of St. Columban Catholic Church in Garden Grove, California, Judy was passionate about many ministries including providing food to those in need at her church and at First Presbyterian Church of Garden Grove. Judy served as a Eucharist Minister, Lector, taught ESL to priests, and brought the Eucharist to homebound. She also dedicated time to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Judy valued higher education and provided for her grandchildren to achieve college degrees. She herself received her MBA. She was a MENSA and a Toastmaster who had worked at CoreLogic, First American Real Estate Solutions, and TRW.
Memorial services are being planned in Garden Grove, Richmond, and Cleveland.
