Paul L. Barlow, 87, of Newark, Ohio passed away on September 17, 2022. He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on November 6, 1934 to William and Muriel Barlow. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Donna. And his sister Jane Ellen (John) Dell and niece Jeanetta Mae Dell-Short.
Paul was known to enjoy just about any sports game, especially the Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. He was his grandson’s #1 supporter and never missed any baseball games. Paul also enjoyed being a pitching coach for many years at Beechcroft High School. He also was an umpire for NCAA little league and he also refereed high school basketball games.
He worked at Western Electric for 30 years as a millwright. He loved his dogs Lassie and Skippy was one of his favorites. Biscuitts was his last favorite dog. He loved going to hockey games with his family. He loved going on cruises with Donna; they traveled to Alaska and Hawaii.
Paul will be greatly missed by his children, Patti and Paul Jr. (Pam) Barlow; grandson, Bryan (Stormie) Barlow; niece and nephew Susann (David) Potts and Dr. John C. Dell Jr.; and several cousins, and dear friends.
Family and friends are welcome to come for the viewing on Sunday, September 25th from 1pm-3pm and Monday, September 26th from 11am-12pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E Johnstown Rd, Gahanna. A funeral service will take place Monday, September 26th at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213 at 2:30pm.
