Kathleen Dunn

Kathleen O’Neill France Dunn, 86, passed away on October 9, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio. She is survived by her husband Daniel R. Dunn, children William M. France Jr (Kim Ward France), Connie France Bowen (George Korzensky), Linda France Clifford and step children David Dunn (Patricia Ferrandez Dunn), Allison Dunn Tomko and Carole Dunn. She is also survived by her brothers Bill O’Neill Jr, (Kathy Templeton O’Neill), John O’Neill (Suzy Beckerman O’Neill), Tim O’Neill (Cindy Carran O’Neill), sister Molly O’Neill Sweeney and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her sister Dottie O’Neill Donahey predeceased Kathleen in 2018.

Born to William J. and Dorothy K. O’Neill in Cleveland, Ohio, Kathleen married William M. France, Sr (deceased 2003), in 1959. Kathleen married Daniel R. Dunn in 2004. Until recently, Kathleen spent her summers on her beloved farm “Masterfare” in Johnstown, Ohio and her winters in Florida.

Kathleen graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 1959 after attending Manhattanville College. Throughout her life, Kathleen enjoyed painting, fox hunting, horseback riding, fly fishing, bone fishing, clay target sports, her dogs and horses, gardening, cooking and her family. She will be sorely missed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 11:30 am at The Church of Ascension (555 South Main Street, Johnstown, Ohio 43031). Attendees will be received beginning at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in her name to your favorite charity. A private burial service will be held in Florida in the near future.
