James “Jim” John Graf, age 76 of Croton Ohio, passed away on Saturday May 21, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by his family. Jim was born in Detroit on July 11, 1945, where he grew up, met his wife, started his family and lifelong career at General Motors as a Tool and Die maker. Through the years Jim and his family lived in Michigan and Ohio before retiring from General Motors and settling in Croton, Ohio. Jim was an avid hunter, fisherman, gun enthusiast, and gardener.
Jim, son of Frank and Nancy Graf, is the beloved husband of Michale Graf; loving father of Patricia Rinchiuso (Tim), Kelly Ours (Joe), Sandra Rossetti (Brad), and Wendy Flowers (Paul); cherished grandfather of Michael Graf, Sarah Ours (Brian), Andrew Young, Nathan Ours (Micaella), Ryan Young (Lindsey), Amanda Curran (Zach), Alex Young, Andrew Ours (Kayla), Vanessa Rinchiuso, Gavin Flowers, Zack Flowers, David Rossetti, and Miranda Rossetti; treasured great-grandfather of William Stanley, Henri Bruton-Ours, and Kassandra Ours; dear brother of Dick (Jan) Graf and Thomas (Patricia) Graf. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Nancy Graf; his brothers, Dick and Tom Graf; and his grandson, Andrew Young.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 25, 2022 from 5pm – 8pm at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230. Family will greet guests on Thursday May 26, 2022 from 10am – 11am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 9633 E, OH-37, Sunbury, OH 43074 until the time of the funeral mass at 11am.
