Floyd N. Tatman, age 80, passed away on September 22, 2022 in the care of his loving wife of 42 years at Tuscany Gardens nursing home in Pataskala Ohio. A dedicated family man, funny and caring, Floyd Tatman always knew what to say.
Known to many as Poppy, he cared dearly for his spouse and family. He loved Longhorn, dancing and singing; and was a gifted handyman with a strong work ethic. Born February 15, 1942 to Harold Lee Tatman and Esther May Raydell, he became an Army sharpshooter, protecting, honoring, and serving his country. Poppy loved relaxing on his deck in the sun. He was a movie buff (westerns being his favorite) and he enjoyed caring for his dogs.
Floyd was survived by his wife Helen Tatman, children Mark Gould (Andrea), Tammy Saffell (Shannon), Charlotte Moore (Mike), Lee Chester (Marie), Heidi Tatman (Harry), and Wesley Tatman (Linda), many grandkids and great grandkids. Leaving a legacy of strong character, lots of laughs, and lots of memories. He will be deeply missed by many.
