Emily Belle Heller

Emily was an amazing daughter, sister, and friend to all those around her. To cherish her memory are her loving parents; Michael Heller Jr and Katherine Tracy (Young) Heller, sisters:Abby Heller and Caroline Heller; grandparents Michael Heller Sr., Elgin and Sharon Young; aunts and uncles; Jill (Heller) Doone (John), Beth (Young) Sesler (Fred).

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Jane (Blaker) Heller.

Emily had a passion for creating pictures with tons of stickers, doing jigsaw puzzles, and watching and dancing to musical shows like Wiggles and Imagination Movers. Playing Uno brought her joy, and she always had a smile on her face during those games; loving nothing more than skipping her opponent or making them draw four! Emily also cherished the holiday season and loved the spirit of Santa Claus.

Emily attended Gahanna Lincoln High School, where she graduated with the Class of 2017. Her life was enriched by her amazing and loving teachers in the Gahanna school system. Carie Barnes, Frank Latella, Tiffany Hannah, Cheryl Kempf, Jill Long, and so many support staff loved and supported our whole family and made Emily’s school journey an incredible one. She was also a loved member of the Gahanna Special Olympics family and enjoyed bowling, track, and basketball with her friends. Her smile and joyful laughter let her quiet spirit shine. We are sure that if she could, she would be sending along all the “kiss backs” to everyone who is hurting and missing her.

A visitation for Emily will take place Friday, November 17, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mifflin Presbyterian Church, 123 Granville St, Gahanna, OH. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213. For those who would like to go in procession to the cemetery family will be meeting guests at Mifflin Presbyterian at 9am.
