Ralph Cordell Morris, 74, Trussville, AL passed away Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021. Graveside Service with military honors will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Shady Grove Cemetery with Pastor J.R. Finney officiating.
Services are under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
Mr. Morris retired as an aircraft mechanic from the U.S. Navy, where he served 20 years and four tours. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Mr. Morris had a passion for deep sea fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Morris and Vinnie Morris Green; sister, Jane Key; brothers, Joe and Gary Morris and granddaughter, Cassie Brock.
Survivors include his daughter, DaShell Barker and husband, Ben; grandson, Will Brock; nieces, Candis Wiley and Anna Beth Morales; nephews, Greg, Jimmy and Tim Morris and their families.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family would like to extend special thanks the Comfort Care Hospice, Fultondale.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
