James Sterling Vest Jr.

Mr. Vest had worked for Cook's Pest Control since 1984 as an entomologist commercial technician. In his past time you could find him hunting or visiting the beach. He was an avid University of Alabama football fan and enjoyed watching games with family and friends. He was a member of Faith Worship Center and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Mr. Vest is survived by his children; Desiree Vest, Ashley (Drew) Wise, Timothy (Emily) Vest; grandchildren, Jessie, Tori, Livi, Novalee, Cayden & Lydea; siblings, Janet (Bobby) Palmer, Jennifer (Mack) McCraw, Jerry (Dianne) Vest; Suzanne Vest; Danny (Darlene)Coffelt; host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation for James will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Collier-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, 824 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, Alabama 35901, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.

Honorary pallbearers will include his Cook's Pest Control family who will miss him dearly.
