Elizabeth Idalee Taylor

A celebration of life for Elizabeth Idalee Taylor, Altoona, AL will be Wednesday-August 11, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at Collier-Butler Chapel. Rev. Roger White and Rev. Jackie Duncan will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her father and mother, Bill and Winnie Johnson, husband of forty eight years, Raymond Taylor. Mom was a true home maker and a loving mother whose family was her life. An avid gardner and farmer. She will be in our hearts forever. Mom leaves behind to cherish her memory, brother, Bill (Sharon) Johnson, MO, sisters, Betty (John) Rickman, WY, Dortha (Don) Stilts, OR , Five children: Steven R Taylor, Boaz, Patricia Williams, Albertville, Kathern (Denman) Davis, Altoona, Tim (Jennifer) Taylor, Gadsden and Gary (Kirstina) Taylor, Altoona, 12 Grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Senger and Lisa Wilson, Alabama Cancer Care, Walnut Grove, Altoona, Egypt Fire Departments, Altoona Police Department for their caring support to our family through this difficult time and great appreciation A-Med Ambulance, Alacare Home Health and Hospice, especially Brandy, Estalla and Kathy for the compassionate care for Mom. Pallbearers will be Grandsons and son-in-law: Nathan Taylor, Matt Taylor, Seth Taylor, Cody Taylor, Denman Davis and Hunter Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Our big brother and mom’s first born, Steven Ray Taylor. The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, favorite charity or church of choice. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
