Charlotte Patty Lorren

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Friday, April 18, 2025, at Crestwood Cemetery, 2209 E. Broad Street Gadsden, AL 35903, for Charlotte Lorren, age 82, of Opelika, AL who passed away on April 14, 2025. Bro. Lauil Thompson will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Charlotte graduated from Gadsden High School, Class of 1960. She attended Gadsden Business School. Her biggest hobby was working in her yard, receiving many Beautification Awards. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Opelika. She enjoyed playing Bridge with friends. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and aunt.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles D. Patty, Sr.; in-laws, Mr. & Mrs. Jesse Lorren; brother, Charles (Jayne) Patty; and sister-in-law, Janet (Ryan) Noah.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth Lorren; brothers, Randy (Linda) Patty and Mark (Kem) Patty; sister-in-law, Becky (Wayne) Braxton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Miracle Network or Samaritan’s Purse.
