Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Charlotte Usry Bobo, of Hokes Bluff who went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 19, 2015 while surrounded by her family and friends. Revs. Dean Timbes, Massey Clayton, and Ryan Smith will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12- 2:00 PM prior to the service. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Charlotte was the only child of Rev. Luther W. and Lillian R. Usry. She graduated from Emma Sansom High School and attended Jacksonville State University. She worked at Boeing and General Electric Companies in Huntsville during the early years of her marriage. She was a loving and devoted wife, a talented decorator and homemaker, as well as, a caring mother to their precious son, Kenton Max.
Charlotte was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hokes Bluff for over thirty years and loved the Fidelis Sunday School class and its members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, James Christian Bobo, and Kenton Max Bobo; brother-in-law, William A. Bobo; and sister-in-law, Elna Jane Wright.
Charlotte is survived by her husband and best friend of over 53 years, Max S. Bobo; brothers-in-law, G.A. (Helen) Bobo, Jr. of Longview, TX, and James S. (Nancy) Bobo of Hokes Bluff; sisters-n-law, Clara B. Lumpkin of Gadsden, Dorothy J. Stanley of Prattville; and numerous neighbors and friends.
Pallbearers will be deacons, family and friends.

Her beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew her.
