Barbara Owens Robinson

Barbara Owens Robinson, 85, passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2024. She dedicated many years of her life to ensuring the safety of others while working in security at Gadsden Mall. Beyond her professional endeavors, Barbara was deeply devoted to her family, finding her greatest joy in spending time with them. She cherished moments with her beloved dog and was an avid fan of Alabama football, often cheering passionately for her team.

Barbara will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to those she loved and her steadfast loyalty to her community. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Samuel "Bob" Owens; and her second husband, Frank Robinson.

She is survived by her 4 sons, 10 grandkids, and several great grandchildren.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Phronsie Owens, Leanne Dycus, Tiffany Vasquez, and the Angels of Healing sitting service for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to Barbara in her final days.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Friday, May 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Collier-Butler Funeral Home, 824 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, AL 35901, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Bro. L. Dale Butler will officiate. Burial will follow at Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
