Angela Marie “Angie” Maxwell, age 50, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Halls Chapel Cemetery in Weaver, Alabama. Rev. Jason Ellen will officiate.
Angie was a 1991 graduate of Gaston High School and was a member of Whites Chapel Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and was a die-hard Auburn fan. Angie was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Walter Moore, Jr; grandparents, John Herman and Ethel Inez Gartman and James Lee and Mary Nell Williams; uncles, Richard Gartman, Wayne Gartman, Jerry Williams, Moe Williams, Johnny Belyeu, Randy Belyeu, and Gary Belyeu; aunts, Brenda Woodward, Carolyn Gladden and Faye Gartman. Fiancé father, James Rogers.
Angie is survived by her son, Dakota Battles; fiancé, Keith Rogers; grandchildren Cooper Battles and Everlee Battles; parents Michael and Odessa Williams; sisters Teresa (Bobby Bartlett) Eisenhardt and Becky (Chad Reavis) Pitts; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Clay Belyeu, Shane Howell, Chase Forehand, Nathan Johnson, Jason Gibbs, Dennis Johns.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Battles, Dr. B.J. Patel and the Tidmore Bend Volunteer Fire Department.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
