Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Unity Baptist Church near Fulton. Inurnment will follow at Unity Baptist Cemetery near Fulton. The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Pamela was the daughter of Alma Walton Harris and the late Robert Lee Harris, Jr. She was married on August 29, 1993 to Richard “Rick” Smith.
She attended Williamsburg Elementary School and graduated from North Callaway High School in 1983. She was the owner of Pam’s Play Palace, a Day Care facility in Fulton and then worked as a Veterinary Technician at Midwest Veterinary Clinic. Pam had been a Girl Scout Leader and she was a proud supporter of the Special Olympics while following her grandson, Gabe to his sporting events.
Pam and her husband, Rick owned Smith Automotive in Fulton. She loved the great outdoors, fishing and especially watching deer.
She is survived by her husband, Rick of Steedman; mother, Alma Harris of Fulton; son, Landon Smith; daughter, Amanda (Stephen) Tate and grandson, Gabriel “Gabe” Tate all of Fulton; step-children, Richard Alan Smith, Jr., Daniel Brian Smith, Amanda Jane Smith, Matthew James Smith, Megan Michelle Laird along with their children all of Desoto, Missouri and many other relatives and friends.
Pam was also preceded in death by grandfather, R. Lee Harris, Sr.; her biological father, William James Gabbett and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Gabbett and Mr. and Mrs. Levi Walton.
