Loretta Jean Akers

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 at the funeral home.

Loretta was born February 3, 1971 in Fulton to Benjamin and Minnie Harris Akers. She was a 1989 graduate of South Callaway High School and had worked at the Fulton State Hospital for over 20 years.

Loretta was a member of Callaway Christian Church in Fulton and she enjoyed shopping and being outside with nature, especially watching the eagles fly. She loved spending time with Kayla and Leah Morse, who were near and dear to her heart.

She is also survived by fiancé, Wayne Keeney of Fulton; parents, Benjamin and Minnie Akers of Licking, Missouri; six brothers and sisters, Cathy (Robert) Love of Kingdom City, Missouri, Kenny (Lesa) Akers of Fulton, Ben (Karen) Akers, Jr. of Licking, Missouri, Roxie (Jeff) Akers Smith of Fulton, Chris Akers of Fulton and Clint (Sarah) Akers of Licking, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Jenny, Justin, Bradley, Carrie, Carla, Cameron, Jacob and Paige; great-nieces, Aleigha and Alivia; great-nephews, Westin and Kaleb along with numerous cousins and many other loving family members.
