Helen Elizabeth Hoover

Helen was born on January 31, 1936 in Mokane, MO the daughter of Jack and Allie (Davis) Blackburn who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage in Paris, MO to Leslie Hoover who preceded her in death in 1989. Helen was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and visiting with family. She retired from the Fulton State Hospital and the Callaway County Courthouse.

Survivors include: one son, Leslie “Bub” Hoover of Fulton, MO; two daughters, Linda Fox (Roy) of Fulton, MO and Elizabeth “Fizz” Hoover of Fulton, MO; seven grandchildren, Rusty Fox, Paula Fox, Lora Fox, Dennis Hoover, Keith Scott, James Hoover and Justin Rogers; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Rogers; her son, Richard Hoover; two grandchildren, Robert Rogers and Denise Hoover; two brothers and six sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton, MO with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating.
