Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Entombment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Hazel was born on June 25, 1936 in Fulton to Charles and Dorothy Harrison Harris and they preceded her in death.
She was a member of Reform Baptist Church and had worked for nine years at International Shoe Factory on State Street in Fulton. Hazel then worked for 35 years at the Fulton State Hospital until her retirement in 1998.
Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Hagedorn of Fulton; sister, Minnie Elizabeth (Ben) Akers of Licking, Missouri; grandchildren, Katherine Hagedorn of Fulton, Bonnie (Ryan Sturch) Hagedorn of Lake St. Louis, Missouri and Jerren Harris of Fulton along with great-grandchildren, Allison and Aurora.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Walter Harris and Jerry Franklin Harris and sister, Linda Pearl Lord.
