Sandra Marie (Davies) Adam, known by friends as “Marie” passed away on December 8, 2018, at the age of 80 years after many years of health problems. She was in a nursing home for the past 6 ½ years where she received excellent care for her strokes and osteoporosis. Two months ago she was admitted to the ICU for aspirated pneumonia, and her health continued to decline as she developed congestive heart failure, sepsis, and pulmonary embolism. Marie was born in Salt Lake City, UT with Mormon pioneer ancestry from both sides of her family. She graduated from Fullerton College with an AA degree in Music, and greatly enjoyed singing and playing several instruments including: marimba, vibraphone, and piano. She had beautiful artistic skills, painting with acrylics and hundreds of ceramics over the years. She also penned many poems throughout her life, and in her later years, a collection of those poems were professionally published. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Milton, daughter Joy, son-in-laws Ray and Kyle, 4 grandchildren, and 9 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Crystal, parents Bryan and Edna, sister Julie “Diane”, brother-in-laws Theodore “Ted” & Richard, sister-in-law Doreen, father-in-law Paul, and mother-in-laws Eva and Hedwig. The viewing will be held on 12/15/18 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, followed by the memorial service at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2225 N Euclid St, Fullerton, CA 92835. Immediately following the funeral services, a burial ceremony will be held at Loma Vista Memorial Park, 701 E Bastanchury Rd, Fullerton, CA 92835.
